Glycerine
Vegetable glycerine is a natural food product. It is odorless, colorless and has a mild sweet character. Glycerine is sometimes used as an additive for spirits in order the conceal the harshness by creating a smoother finish - a process referred to as obscuration.
Recommended dosage:
- Add 5ml – 20 ml per litre of spirit.
Invert sugar can also be used as an alternative to glycerine. but will sweeten your product more.
